Lodestar Recruiting LLC (“Lodestar,” “we,” “us”) operates lodestarrecruiting.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information We Collect
- Information you give us: When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject and message. When you book a call through Calendly, Calendly collects your name, email, any answers you provide, and payment details for paid sessions.
- Information collected automatically: We use Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit) to understand how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring site. This uses cookies and similar technologies.
- Spam protection: Our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA, which collects hardware and software information and sends it to Google to check that you are not a bot.
How We Use Information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide recruiting or consulting services.
- To schedule and deliver consulting calls.
- To improve our website and understand which content is useful.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing email without your consent.
Third Parties
- Calendly: handles scheduling for consulting calls. Its privacy policy applies to information you enter there.
- Stripe: payments for paid sessions are processed by Stripe through Calendly. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Google: Google Analytics and reCAPTCHA. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Top Echelon (TE) Network: Job listings on our Job Board are provided through the Top Echelon Network, a recruiting association of independent recruiters. When you apply to a listing, your application and résumé go directly to the Top Echelon Network recruiter handling that job and are governed by their privacy practices, not ours.
- Service providers and legal: We may share information with providers that help us run our business (such as website hosting), or when required by law.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them for analytics and spam protection. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though the contact form relies on reCAPTCHA.
Data Retention and Security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and use reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Your Choices
You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you by contacting us as described below. Residents of certain states may have additional rights under their state’s law, and we will honor them as required.
Children
This site is intended for professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Indiana and applicable U.S. federal law.
